Ministerial Services

Ministerial Services relates to the areas of ordained ministry, equitable compensation, and pastoral care and counseling. Rev. Lisa Garvin, Director of Ministerial Services, serves as a liaison between the Board of Ordained Ministry and the Cabinet. All clergy and certified lay persons relate to the Office of Ministerial Services. Lisa assists district committees on Ordained Ministry in carrying out their functions as it relates to candidacy, mentoring, and training. Clergy support and training are responsibilities of this office. Ministerial Education Funds are also administered by the Office of Ministerial Services. MEF supports of seminary students from the Mississippi Conference.
