2010 Annual Conference

Jackson Convention Complex

The 2010 Annual Conference Session of the Mississippi Conference will be Friday through Sunday, June 11 – 13, 2010, at the Jackson Convention Complex.

The theme of the conference will be Arise, Shine, Grow! This theme will draw from the Biblical images of growing things, including the parables of Jesus. This theme will help us all stretch through this year toward fruitful ministry, evangelism and mission. We will celebrate churches having professions of faith, growing worship attendance, increased numbers of persons served in mission, growing numbers of children and youth and adults.
The Annual Conference Planning Committee envisions the Jackson Convention Complex alive with growing people and growing things—seeds, flowers, plants, trees, produce. In this way we will celebrate the ways in which we are growing in strength, in numbers, in vitality and in mission.

Trans4mation will be incorporated into the conference sessions, making teaching and learning
a part of the experience of the annual conference for all lay and clergy members and guests.
