Griffin UMC women aid students Written: 9/23/2009 The women of Griffin United Methodist Church in Starkville baked homemade cookies for the students attending East Mississippi Community College in Mayhew. The Rev. Nancy Bishop is the new voluntary chaplain for the campus and asked churches in the area to make cookies so students will know that they are remembered. Churches in the Golden Triangle are asked to call Bishop at 662-524-0014 and tell her when they can make at least 30 dozen cookies for one week of the school year. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
