Hopewell plans homecoming

Written: 9/23/2009

Hopewell United Methodist Church in the Penantly community of Jasper County will host its annual homecoming service on Oct. 11. Established by the Rev. John McCormick in 1829, the church is celebrating 180 years of ministry. The Rev. Kathy Price will bring the message at the 11 a.m. worship service. The service will be followed by an old fashioned “dinner on the grounds.” Paper products, drinks, and ice will be furnished for the noon meal. Please bring a covered dish to share.
