Rust College welcomes freshmen

Rust College President David L. Beckley expressed hope for a bright future in welcoming about 310 members of the Class of 2013 recently at the W.A. McMillan Multi-Purpose Building on the campus in Holly Springs.

Beckley reminded his listeners of the college’s rich history and contributions, and urged the students to work hard to bring the dream of their parents and loved ones to pass. Following Beckley’s address to the audience, a special presentation was made. Parents and guardians officially entrusted their children into the care of Rust.

Rust opened the 2009-2010 school year on Aug. 15.
