Independence UMC Big Event

The youth and children of Independence UMC came together for a BIG EVENT on Dec. 16. They arrived in their Christmas pj's with their sleeping bags to watch the new Veggie Tales movie „St. Nicholas, the Joy of Giving. They enjoyed Kool-aid, popcorn, Christmas cookies, and hot chocolate while they learned the joy of giving can be found by doing it in secret. The youth helped the younger students make secret Santa gift sacks to give someone a gift in this holiday season without any of the usual praise. The pastor of the church is Rev. David Meadows.
